Lamour Black Protecting Varnish is a liquid etching ground designed to protect the back and edges of your plate from the bite of the acid during etching.This protecting varnish is extremely resistant to acid and we recommend that it is used for aquatint techniques.

When applying the protecting varnish, your plate must be completely degreased and cold. It is best applied with a supple brush.

Contents: Asphaltum, Turpentine

1800-luvun jälkipuoliskolla taidegrafiikasta kehittyi täysimittainen liike, ja taiteilijat ottivat käyttöön käsitteen ”maalari-grafiikko”. Liikkeen keskus Pariisi sai uuden kemistin, François Charbonnelin, joka avasi myymälän lähelle École des Beaux-Artsia ja Louvrea.
